Well it's a small world!
I just got off the phone with Paul Dolan, a mate of mine that runs Fraser Coast Sportfishing here in Hervey Bay. Something I didn't know was that Paul was the original owner of Strike Zone lures and still has the original timber Intruder prototype that he got his brother Alan Dolan to make the mould from. (it's amazing that Paul has this lure still as he lost it to a fish one day, and some time later a mate of his found it in a mangrove and returned it) I'll be catching up with Paul soon to get some more info on the early Strike Zone Lures as well as some other lures Paul made prior to starting Strike Zone - "Pro Rigging Kit Lures" which were sold as blanks for people to paint themselves in their favorite colours. |

Mine are definitely moulded plastic. You can see the seam lines in them.
