Here is my first set of Ian Salmon (Fysshe) Nudes. These cute little guys are all 70mm in length and are great fish takers in the shallow water on sooties, jungle perch, and the bigger ones on barra. The model is called the 'Calliope'. I also have a certificate to go with the set. These ones will be kept in the box for safe keeping.

This is also Ian's first Nude set he has made!
cheers steiny

I like the King Billy but love that Oregon pine

I looks good for a saved timber from a industrial bin and out of the very old part of myer building that was saved from the big fire near the mall in Hobart and part of there safety renovation upgrade.
The timbers well over 100 years old

Nice work Ian

Thanks Rick, the Oregon pine can be difficult to work with as it has both hard and soft areas, and if you're not careful, you end up with a corrugated surface! I love the Tassy Oak, has stripes just like the Tassie Tiger!! Thumbs Up

Traded my old sounder to a young fella in town for some different timbers. He came over yesterday with a piece of laminate from a building site. Looked to good to pass up so I sliced off a bit and knocked up a quick nudie. Turned out pretty good, but not sure how good the bond is? Confused

Now they are just cool - a natural timber scale pattern. Now a lot of people are going to be after macadamia after this.

Got a lot of time on my hands now that the Barra season has closed! Knocked up a bunch of nude Tigers for my QLD and Tassy Tiger sets... Wink

A couple of timbers really "popped" when the clear was applied, especially the Musk that Rick sent up from Tas, and some white Cedar I got from Gavin (OCD),,, Thanks guys... Tongue

What type of clear did you use, because it really makes that timber come alive!
