Here is how i hand shape a Spoon. This is my model of a Spoon that was made in Norway about 120 years ago, by a Goldsmith

We would kill for that rain around here Per---Great video too, we used to use a 'tow ball' as an anvil to make spoons that big, your way certainly looks easier.

And thy do Work. Had a Little session with a 7 gr. Silver/cobber AA-S Spoon tonight in my stream. high Water, lots of drifting weed, and very heavy Wind. Difficult condisions, but real Trout weather Smile Released a couple more, that was some bigger and had several interested in the Spoon.
