Brad any idea of an approximate time line. Different eyes I presume the painted eyes would be the early ones.
Thanks for posting Regards John

John, sort of. Gordon painted eyes on his timber ones. When he got Lively to mould them it was at the same time that they were also moulding the Downunder bodies, so they came with the dolls eyes, and also had yellow eyes for a period. Some models done by Lively have no moulded in writing and were still hand signed by Gordon. Not sure on exact time as yet, but one can reasonably guess around the
When new moulds were done toward the end of the time Gordon owned the business, they changed to the White/Black painted eye, which they still have to this day after Lively bought the designs. The moulded lures were available in the early 90's, and I think Gordon sold the designs late 90's to early 00's Brad |
