A friend of mine found this lure among some old gear, but has no idea of its origin. Perhaps any of you might know it, it weighs approximately 5 to 10 gram, has a glass eye and has a firm singlehook mounted.
Perhaps following photoes might be of any use http://imageshack.dk//viewimage.php?file=/imagesfree/5UR12275.jpg http://imageshack.dk//viewimage.php?file=/imagesfree/oI612378.jpg http://imageshack.dk//viewimage.php?file=/imagesfree/Gcg12414.jpg http://imageshack.dk//viewimage.php?file=/imagesfree/yXo12448.jpg The name "revolt" and "patent" is embossed in the top, and it seems to be made, with the intent of squezing some kind of bait in between the top and bottom in his opnion. I dont know the lure myself, but belive its made this way to secure the single hook from getting caught in weed. I checked among my info on Heddon lures, but have failed to to find it among my info. I look forward to your comments on this lure. Best regards Torben |

Well here is the present result of my search on the Revolt lure: Recently a similar specimen was sold on Tradera, and the picture from that auction is shown hereThe Revolt-Draget is a new article in the brothers Tysklind catalogue from the year 1920. The drag (swedish name for this type of lure) is listed as "Propellerdraget" number 43, named revolt and its length was 9cm, and was at that time sold at 3 swedish kronor each. It is unknown who the manufacturer was, as Tysklind were wholesalers only. http://listthumb.tradera.com/245/131825245_1.jpg however it appear to be a newer version. Fishaholic5: Sorry the lure is not mine to sell, rumours has it that it may be auctioned, if so I will of course let you know asap. Best regards, Torben |

Your hint about traderas auction, was certainly helpful, though it took me some time to figure out how it worked. Thankyou very much.
