These are some timber lures of mine from the early 1980's when I had a dose of the lure making bug.

Hi Col,
Thanks for your interest. No brand names, limited in number and mostly obvious copies of lures that were successful at the time. These and the last 3 were hand carved and the targets were barra and jacks. when I started chasing pelagics, I moved on to poppers which could be turned on a lathe and lost more often when using the lighter lines popular at the time! Nilsmasters are a very good lure so there were many of us who were making copies. It would be nice to think that some are still out there.

Nice lures those! They were my inspiration also in the early 70's. Still have a few left that were returned to me by an old mate.
