Hi All,

Decided to experiment with an earlier moulded version to see how it would stand up under load, before deciding to proceed with this material any further.

Ignore the crappy footage, I possibly went a bit overboard with the testing.

At least everything held together - hopefully the link works

It held up well. There’s no fish that’s going to pull 30 kgs. To most people a 10 kg drag setting is very high

Hi Martin,
Thanks for taking the time out to reply.

The testing was more to ensure that excess pressure placed on the fastening points when people get a lure snagged wasn't going to cause any issues, as the line between what a lure should be able to withstand tends to become a bit of a grey area with some anglers ( myself included at times ).

Cheers

Hey Steve, at least you can be assured if you hook up to a battery fish you won't loose itWink On a more serious note I think they are strong enough.
