Here are a few of the soft plastics that I have made in the last little while.
The pink ones are made of RTV so if my plaster moulds wear out I can make a new one. The cicada represents one of the unfortunate ones who never get to fly and they suspend in the water. Crab and a mantis shrimp not sure if fish like mantis shrimp but I did so I carved one. The masters were carved from dental wax, the one good thing about going to the dentist. Big-Pete

Thank you for your comments. I do make a small crab carapace out of resin for flies they are smaller (about half the size) than the plastic ones I do, I make the legs from micro chenille.Big-Pete

I see you have been busy again Big Pete
The bream and whiting should be all over the crab lure, have you had some success with it. How long does it last before you need to replace it, with those life like legs. Regards John

Thanks John, I made the crabs last year and unfortunately my heath and weather has not allowed me to try them out, but all going well I will on the water soon.

Yes I do, the moulds are normally made from plaster but if I have a good pattern then I will make them out of resin. The pink ones are rtv which are really just done as a back up if the plaster mould breaks.
