Note the telephone number and address on back of packaging.

Any ideas of approx age from that info.  (ex PMG?  guys/gals)

Another very early lure maker from Victoria, anybody else happen to have some.

Not previously recorded in Vic section.

Regards John

Just from memory it would be 1940s or 50s.

Carter used to work for Hartleys before he went out on his own.

I have this lure plus an older mudeye imitation.

Soft plastics have been around for a while, eh?

Nick Creme in the US, developed the first 'true' soft plastics in 1949/50 IIRC, but Shakespeare had soft 'rubber' lures in the range back in the late 1800's.
