I still have quite a few Kent lures. All of mine are plastic though and I must admit to never seeing a timber Kent before. One of the earlier Asian knock offs.

My experience has been that some swim exceptionally well where others don't. I've even had some melt away and others where the undercoat turned liquid and the paint just peeled off the lure.

Mind you I had some of their Tadpolly copies and IMHO the action of some models were better than Heddon's.

Not sure where they should be place. An Asian country.
Might help with some unknowns. Located 1989.  Balsa lures.
