has anyone got/using this baitcaster reel? if so whats your thoughts on it. seems like a reasonable reel for the price, $200. . . . .mick

I’m not familiar with the quantam reels but I do hear a lot of people buy the fresh water reel for saltwater use by mistake. 
Don’t ask me why, perhaps it’s not made real clear but I hear a lot of people make this mistake. Double check it’s what you want it for before buying.

I don't know that model. I have a Smoke, and I've used a few others.
IMO they don't rate dollar for dollar against similar priced Daiwa, Shimano or Abu. 
I know a few yanks who do love their Quantum stuff, but in their local retail market the Quantum are much cheaper than the Japanese stuff they are similar price to here.

look them up ducks, they are a big reel. in saying that I've settled on a abu revo 4 inshore. can get one ,new, for $240. . . . .mick
